Hi, I’m Maia Rhenish—a sound healing practitioner, embodied voice coach, musician, and Shamanic Reiki Master.

I offer private sound healing sessions, embodied voice work, public and private sound baths, and workshops in-person in Pittsboro, NC, in the surrounding community, and online.

My work weaves together sound, voice, movement, and energy, supporting individuals as they reconnect to themselves and embrace transformation.

my personal journey

Music and sound have been constant companions throughout my life. I have always called upon sound as a guide for expression, healing, and connection. Having traveled across many corners of the world, I have gathered stories, songs, sounds, and the echoes of the land and its people. Embodying the essence of the Creative Mother, I strive to bring warmth, light, and graceful strength to everything I offer. I believe in the oneness and interconnectedness of all living beings, trusting that each of us has a unique role within this infinite divine web that unites us all. Guided by my intuition, somatic body signals, and spiritual guides, I navigate the depths of this mysterious life with an open heart.

In addition to being a sound healing practitioner and musician, I am a devoted mother to two creatively inclined teenage boys who love to explore the wilderness alongside me. My personal journey has also included over two decades of teaching outdoor education and the arts to young children and teens, further deepening my relationship with the beauty and power of sound, movement, and nature.

my philosophy

The heart of my work is rooted in the belief that healing begins within, through self-awareness, self-care, self-love, and deep listening—listening to our bodies, our inner selves, the natural world, and the spirit realms that guide us.

I approach every session with deep reverence for sound as a bridge between the seen and unseen, the physical and the spiritual. I hold space for individuals to ground into their roots, release what no longer serves them, and attune to their highest vibrational essence.

I incorporate intuitive tools such as vocal toning, somatic movement, energy techniques, and soundscapes created with my voice, Himalayan and Crystal bowls, tuning forks, drums, chimes, and other drone and overtone producing instruments. My goal is to guide others back to their true essence—a place of deep self-love, harmony, and connection to the sacred rhythms of life. I trust in the innate wisdom of the body, the power of the voice, and the resonance of the natural world to support transformation and healing.
